Bluetooth is a short-range wireless technology standard used to exchange data between devices without the need for physical cables or wires. It essentially acts as an invisible cable, allowing electronics like smartphones, laptops, headphones, and smartwatches to communicate directly with one another. How Bluetooth Works

Radio Waves: Bluetooth transmits data using ultra-high frequency (UHF) radio waves.

2.4 GHz Frequency: It operates globally on the unlicensed 2.4 GHz ISM band.

Frequency Hopping: To prevent interference with other electronics (like Wi-Fi), it rapidly chops data into packets and shifts frequencies up to 1,600 times per second across 79 unique channels.

The Piconet: When Bluetooth devices link up, they form a mini-network called a piconet, consisting of one master device and up to seven active peripheral devices. The Two Main Types

Bluetooth Classic: Engineered for high-throughput, continuous data streaming. It is heavily utilized for wireless audio streaming in headphones and car entertainment systems.

Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE): Optimized for ultra-low power consumption. It is ideal for internet of things (IoT) applications, fitness trackers, and smart sensors that sleep often and transmit small bursts of data.
