Ultimate Extract and Recover

Ultimate Extract and Recover (formerly known as Unrar Extract and Recover) is actually an automation tool for batch-extracting compressed file archives like RAR and ZIP, rather than a standard deleted-file data recovery program.

If your “lost files” are currently trapped inside dozens of nested, multi-part, or password-protected archives, this tool will help you extract and save them rapidly. However, if your files were accidentally deleted or formatted from a drive, you will need true data recovery software instead. Scenario A: Extracting Files Trapped in Archives

If you are using Ultimate Extract and Recover to pull a large volume of data out of corrupted or buried archive folders, follow these steps:

Select the Input Folder: Open the application and choose the root directory containing your .rar or .zip archives. The program only loads folders for batch processing, not individual files.

Set the Output Directory: Choose a safe, separate destination folder where you want the extracted files to live.

Input Passwords (If Needed): If any archives are password-protected, you can pre-input a list of passwords for the software to try automatically.

Run and Verify: Click the extraction button. The tool will automatically traverse nested folders, extract multi-part archives, and skip redundant sections to save CPU cycles. You can check the “Verify” option to ensure the files extracted without corruption. Scenario B: Recovering Deleted or Lost Hard Drive Files

If your files were emptied from the Recycle Bin or lost during a system crash, Ultimate Extract and Recover cannot search your hard drive sectors. Instead, you should immediately stop using the drive to prevent overwriting data and use a specialized file recovery program:
