When your MEGAsync desktop app gets stuck or stops syncing, it usually stems from misconfigured directories, network rate limits, browser changes, or a locked cache file. Most issues can be corrected instantly through the application interface without completely reinstalling the program. 1. Force Sync Verification and Toggle Settings
Often, a specific synchronization path drops because a local drive was temporarily unmounted, shifted paths, or went offline.
Open the MEGAsync Desktop App and tap the Gear/Settings icon.
Go to the Syncs tab and ensure the checkbox next to your target folders is fully checked.
If it is already checked but stuck, highlight the sync line, click Delete to terminate the stale link relationship, and then re-add the exact same local and cloud folder paths to kickstart a clean, automatic comparison scan. 2. Adjust HTTP / HTTPS Transfer Settings
